The Cambridge Public Health Department is seeking public comment on draft public health regulations pertaining to the keeping of honey bees and hens.
The health department and the city's Community Development Department lead the Cambridge Food and Fitness Policy Council’s Urban Agriculture Task Force, which is developing a comprehensive urban agriculture policy for the city. This policy will include a zoning ordinance amendment, public health regulations (bees, hens, and soil safety), guidance documents, and permit applications.
Deadline: Please email comments or questions about the draft regulations to Kari Sasportas at email@example.com by Monday, May 1.
All comments will be carefully considered by the Cambridge Public Health Department.
