You Can Save a Life With a Spray: Free Overdose Training

Are you worried about overdoses happening in your neighborhood? Have you wondered how you can help prevent a fatal overdose?

Learn how to prevent, recognize and respond to an opioid overdose at a free training on Monday, Nov. 6, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Faith Lutheran Church, 311 Broadway in Cambridge. 

This comprehensive training covers:
  • Recognizing the signs of an overdose
  • Responding to an overdose safely and effectively
  • Empowering yourself to make the right decisions
Pharmacists will be on-site dispensing naloxone, the medication that reverses the effects of an overdose. If you are interested in leaving the event with naloxone, bring your insurance card. To save time, insurance information can also be submitted beforehand at: https://www.endmassoverdose.org/opioidrescue.
